The featured disc for October 2023 was a custom run of Swirly Star MAKO midrange discs from Innova. Most of us see Mako3 discs all of the time, but it is much more rare to see the original Mako which is becoming more and more collectible as time goes by. The “swirls” in this exclusive run ended up making some fairly dark “Halloween” colors with a bunch of shades of orange, green, purple, and browns. The discs were topped with a 3-Foil stamp of a Mako shark feeding frenzy by Bradford Leiby. Three-foil stamps on the Innova brand are rare. This exclusive run from Innova should be a fun addition to collections and also an extremely straight flyer on the disc golf course.
